Between 22nd-28th March 2010 we at Holy Trinity Lyonsdown will be taking part in A Passion For Life, a movement involving Churches up and down the country.
As a Church we will be putting on a number of events to serve our community by spreading the good news about Jesus. Below is a list of events:
Event: North London Partnership Mission Team Training
Date & Time: Monday 22 March, Tuesday 23 March, Wednesday 24 March, Friday 26 March. 1000 - 1200 each day.
Location: Lyonsdown Hall
Open To: All members of the North London Partnership churches
Details: Parking is limited and therefore the use of public transport - which is good - is encouraged. New Barnet railway station is very close to the Hall. High Barnet tube is not too far away and the local buses are good. Coffee/Tea and doughnuts will be available on arrival.

Event: Superhero Spectacular
Date & Time: Monday 22nd March, 5-6.30pm
Location: Church Rooms, 18 Lyonsdown Road
Open To: All children of primary school age
Details: Dress up as your favourite superhero, eat fantastic food fit for a superhero, and hear about the greatest superhero of all time - Jesus!

Event: Batik Evening
Date & Time: Monday 22nd March, 7.30-9.30pm
Location: Church Rooms, 18 Lyonsdown Road
Open To: All women
Details: Learn how to do this beautiful craft in a relaxed, informal setting and hear a short talk about the Christian faith. No artistic experience or expertise required. All materials and tuition provided. Newcomers warmly welcomed. Refreshments will be served.

Details: Consultant surgeon Bernard Palmer will be speaking on why Jesus is the only person who can heal the human heart.

Event: FOCUS Guest Evening
Date & Time: Wednesday 24 March 7.30 pm
Location: Lyonsdown Hall, 3 Lyonsdown Road
Open To: Anyone
Details: A good-quality meal will be served at 7.30 pm. This will be followed by small group Bible studies, a central talk by international speaker Phillip Jensen and an open question time. Children aged 5 upwards will be looked after and catered for. Event ends at 9.30 pm.

Date & Time: Friday 26th March, 1:30-3pm

Open To: Parents/carers and their babies/toddlers
Details: Bring your babies and toddlers along to a safe and friendly place to meet other parents and carers and hear a short talk from the bible.

Details: The best fried breakfast in North London! Breakfast starts at 7.30 am and will be followed by a talk by international speaker Phillip Jensen. Ends at 8.30 am.

Details: Come and battle your way though to win the cup! We'll also be hearing some good news from the Bible!
