Nusring Homes

We have the privilege of being able to run a short service in three local nursing homes throughout the week. These include Cedars, Northwood and Courtlands.

The service always includes a short talk, usually based on just one verse from the Bible. We also enjoy singing a couple songs with the residents of the homes. The quality of their singing usually outweighs ours.

We approach this ministry with two main aims:

1. To encourage those who are Christians to keep going and persevere to the end. It's a real joy for us to us to meet regularly with people who love Jesus.

2. To explain something of the good news of Jesus Christ to those who don't know Jesus for themselves. It's hard to know exactly what God is doing in people's hearts, but praise the Lord we have seen some encouraging signs over the past year.
